The Titans opened a big week of play in the SHSHL with a win over their crosstown rival. The Titans took a 2-1 lead into the third period when they exploded for four goals.
Mike Lucas and Damon DeLaurentis (power play) scored first period goals for the Titans, but that 2-0 lead was cut in half when West’s Tanner Ginn scored the second period’s only goal on a power play.
In the opening five-and-a-half minutes of the third period, Thomas Liberta (power play), Leo Flick and Kevin Casey reeled off consecutive goals to give the Titans a 5-1 lead. West’s Patrick Smith and South’s Jake Bauer exchanged goals to close out the game.
The Titans held a 54-25 advantage in shots, but West goalie Kenny Doak negated that advantage with 48 saves.

Shaun Bily led the Patriots with two goals and two assists while Joe Ridolfi (one goal, two assists), Zach Davis (two goals, one assist) and Austin Chase (three assists) all had three-point nights.
The Patriots used goals by Alex Wasserman and Bily to take a 2-0 lead after one period. Davis scored a pair of second period goals while Wasserman, Ridolfi and Bily each added single goals to give the Patriots a 7-0 lead. Bily and Nick Chimera closed out the scoring with single goals in the third period.
The Patriots held a 52-17 advantage in shots. LC goalie Helen Cooney turned away 43 shots. Steven Gilchrist turned away all 17 shots he faced to earn the shutout for South.

Council Rock South 7     Pennridge 2
Despite dominating play, the Golden Hawks took a tenuous 3-2 lead into the third period when they exploded for four unanswered goals. Eric Higgins led a balanced Rock South attack with two goals and one assist.
Aaron Crosson gave the Rams a 1-0 lead when he scored a power play goal six minutes into the game, but Higgins answered with a goal to make it a 1-1 game after one period. Matt Gulack gave the Golden Hawks a 2-1 lead, but Crosson’s unassisted goal knotted the score again. A goal by Steven Bollendorf nine minutes into the second period put the Golden Hawks on top 3-2.
Goals by Rock South’s Dylan Varian (power play), Karl Martin, Higgins and Jason Brockman closed out the scoring in the third period.
Rock South held a 33-13 edge in shots. Pennridge goalie Michael Weaver turned away 26 shots while Zachary Magro stopped 11 of 13 shots he faced.
