CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 5, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3
West goalie Jonah Brous turned away 32 shots, negating the Golden Hawks’ 35-26 advantage in shots, and John McCreadie led a balanced offense with three assists, propelling the Bucks to the huge win.
The two teams were tied 1-1 at the end of one period, thanks to goals by Rock South’s Justin Adams and West’s Ryan Trefz. Scotty Cappuccio gave West a 2-1 lead five minutes into the second period, but that lead held up for less than a minute as David Keebler answered with a goal for the Golden Hawks. A goal by Danny Wilson 15 seconds later gave the Bucks a lead they would not lose. Trefz connected on his second goal to close out the scoring in the second period, sending the Bucks into the third period with a 4-2 lead.
Rock South’s Eric Higgins cut that lead to one with a goal 24 seconds into the period, but Eric Schwass gave the Bucks breathing room with a goal three minutes later.

UPPER MORELAND 9, ARCHBISHOP WOOD 5
The Golden Bears closed out the game with six straight goals, turning a 5-3 deficit into a 9-5 win. Sean Lloyd (five goals, one assist) and Jordin Holmes (five assists) led the Bears with six and five-point nights respectively. Andy Iehle (two goals, one assist) and Nick Park (three assists) each had three points.
The two teams exchanged goals in the first period with Lloyd scoring on a power play goal, and Nick Patton answering for the Vikings to knot the score 1-1 at the end of one period.
Ryan Meinke scored to give Wood a 2-1 lead, but Lloyd and Andy Iehle answered to put the Golden Bears on top 3-2. A pair of Patton goals and a single goal by Matt Mandes gave the lead back to Wood (5-3), but two goals from Lloyd – both shorthanded – and a single goal by Iehle sent the Golden Bears into the final period with a 6-5 lead. They added to that lead with three more goals in the third period.

WISSAHICKON 11, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 4
Luke Honorowski had another big night, exploding for four goals and three assists to lead the Trojans. Dustin Rabinowitz added one goal and three assists.
Honorowski put the Trojans on the scoreboard just over six minutes into the game, and before the first period had ended, Kyle Wolf and Ranbinowitz had also found the net, spotting the Trojans a 3-0 lead after one period.
Goals by Brandon Rosoff, Adriano Palatano and Honorowoski (power play) put the Trojans on top 6-0 before Joe Jordan and Bo Flint scored back-to-back goals for the Colonials to make it a 6-2 game. Honorowski closed out the period with a goal to put the Trojans on top 7-2. PW would get no closer than four the rest of the way.
The Trojans held a lopsided 46-16 advantage in shots.

SOUDERTON 9, HARRY S TRUMAN 3
Alex Politsky had a monster eight-point night to lead the Indians, contributing six goals and two assists. Daniel Rock added a goal and five assists while Clay Anders had four assists for the Indians, who sealed the win with a five-goal third period.
The two teams were deadlocked 1-1 at the end of one period, thanks to goals by Truman’s Kyle Bennett and Politsky. Back-to-back goals by Politsky to open the second period gave the Indians a 3-1 lead. Josh Robinson made it a 3-2 game with a goal for Truman. Kyle Milosec answered for the Indians, but Truman’s Zach Bennett scored to make it a 4-3 game heading into the final period.
The third period belonged to the Indians or, more specifically, to Politsky, who reeled off three straight goals to give the Indians a 7-3 lead on their way to the win.
The Indians held a 33-18 advantage in shots.
