COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 8, ABINGTON 3
The Ghosts held a 2-1 lead at the end of one period, but the Golden Hawks exploded out of the gate in the second period, scoring five unanswered goals to seize control of the game. David Keebler led the Ghosts with two goals and two assists while Justin Adams (one goal, two assists) and Matt Gulack (two goals, one assist) each added three points.
Anthony DeRose put the Golden Hawks on the scoreboard less than four minutes into the game, but Abington’s Nicholas Scipione and James Campbell scored back-to-back goals to send the Ghosts into the second period with a one-goal lead.
In Rock South’s 5-0 tear to open the second period, Keebler scored a pair of goals while Steven Bollendorf, Adams and Kyle Bradley each added single goals.
The Golden Hawks held a 35-16 advantage in shots.

HARRY S TRUMAN 2, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 2
Truman’s Billy Keyser scored a power play goal in the third period, using assists from teammates Zach Bennett and Justin Vickery, to knot the score 2-2 just over four minutes into the period. Neither team scored the rest of the way in a contest that saw the Tigers hold a 36-18 advantage in shots on goal. Twenty-two of those shots came in the third period.
Josh Robinson (Vickery assist) scored four minutes and 10 seconds into the game to spot the Tigers an early 1-0 lead, but Rock North’s Dante Rienzi (Colton Snow/Justin Fricke assists) answered with the equalizer five minutes later. Tristan Wieczorek (Mark Tosti assist) scored the lone second period goal, giving the Indians a 2-1 lead.
Rock North keeper Kyle McQuilan turned away 34 shots in a standout effort.

PENNSBURY 6, PENNRIDGE 2
Luke Ledes (one goal, two assists), Kevin Koerner (one goal, two assists) and Mike Tarasiewicz (three assists) each contributed three-point nights to lead the Falcons, who rallied from an early 2-1 deficit to earn the win.
A power play goal by John Thornton gave the Falcons an early 1-0 lead, but Aaron Crosson and Jake Wexler answered with goals for the Rams to make it a 2-1 game at the end of one period.
Thornton’s power play goal knotted the score 2:46 into the second period, and back-to-back goals by Larry Kolk sent the Falcons into the third period with a 4-2 lead.
The Falcons held a 34-20 advantage in shots.

Matthew Iehle led the Golden Bears with three goals and four assists while teammates Colton Arizini (four goals, one assist) and Sean Lloyd (five goals) both had five-point nights.
The Golden Bears scored all the goals they would need in the opening period. Lloyd had four goals in the frame and Iehle a pair while Alex Caligiuri and Colton Arizini each added single goals to propel Upper Moreland to a commanding 8-1 lead.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 5, SOUDERTON 1
The Patriots scored three unanswered goals to open the second period, breaking a scoreless tie and giving East a lead it would not lose.
Zach Davis got the Patriots untracked with back-to-back goals, and when Liam Kolar scored an unassisted goal, the Patriots led 3-0. Charles Kakreka broke the Patriots’ run, but Austin Chase and Nick Chimera’s goals in the third period sealed the Indians’ fate.
The Indians held a 28-26 advantage in shots, but the 27-save effort of Steven Gilchrist proved to be the difference in the game.

The Knights exploded for eight goals in the first period and nine more in the second on their way to the lopsided win. Alex Peterson and Kevin Saylor had five-point nights to lead North Penn with Saylor contributing four goals and one assist and Peterson adding three goals and two assists. Matthew Stella (one goal, three assists), Christian Ahn (one goal, three assists) and Nick Capasso (two goals, two assists) each had four-point games. Jake Heckenberger had two goals and one assist to finish with three points on a night that saw 17 players contribute points.
Kyle Bennett led the Tigers with a goal and an assist.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 6, ABINGTON 6
The Ghosts scored three straight goals to close out the game, forcing the Bucks to settle for a 6-6 tie. Scotty Cappuccio had a big night for the Bucks, contributing four goals. The Ghosts were led by Thomas Carroll’s hat trick.
The Ghosts scored the only goal of the first period and went on top 2-0 after a goal by Justin Adamski Jr (Aidan Smith assist) early in the second period. Back-to-back goals by Cappuccio knotted the score, and a goal by Shawn Philipps put the Bucks on top 3-2.  A goal by Abington’s John Egan knotted the score, but Cappuccio’s goal in the closing minutes of the second period put the Bucks on top 4-3.
Patrick Smith and Cappuccio scored to give the Bucks a 6-3 lead 11 minutes into the third period, but back-to-back goals by Carroll and a goal by Alex DeCristofano (James Campbell, Aidan Smith assists) knotted the score.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 7, PENNSBURY 0
Jason Brockman scored four goals, including the first three of the game, and teammate Dylan Varian added the hat trick to lead the Golden Hawks to the win. Rock South goalie Zachary Magro was forced to make just 12 saves in the shutout while his counterpart, Trevor Schadler, turned away 30 shots.
Brockman spotted the Golden Hawks a 2-0 lead at the end of one period, scoring an unassisted goal 44 seconds into the game and then adding a goal with a Matt Gulack assist 12:59 into the period. Brockman’s third goal early in the second period made it a 3-0 game. Varian (Steven Bollendorf/Alex Keck assist) added a goal before Brockman scored his fourth goal to send the Golden Hawks into the third period with a 5-0 lead.

The Redskins used goals by Eric Graham and Nick Verdi to open up a 2-0 lead less than five minutes into the game. They did not score the rest of the way, managing just 14 shots in a game marred by penalties.
The Titans pounded 41 shots at Matt Sheley, who turned in a standout 37-save effort for the Redskins in goal.
The Titans knotted the score 2-2 by the end of one period, thanks to a power play goal by Thomas Liberta and a shorthanded goal by Cam Calista. Dominic Bova scored 9:22 into the second period to give the Titans a 3-2 lead, and Damon Delaurentis added an insurance goal in the third period.

The Patriots jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the end of one period and never looked back. Joe Ridolfi led a potent East attack with three goals and four assists while Zach Davis added two goals and four assists. Alex Wasserman had a five-point night with two goals and three assists.
Four players – Nick Chimera, Davis, Brennan Kolar and Ridolfi – each scored single goals in the first period. A shorthanded goal by Zach Davis in the second period put the Patriots on top 5-0 before Brad Keller connected on a power play goal to put the Colonials on the scoreboard.
East held a commanding 55-19 advantage in shots on goal.

The Trojans jumped out to a 4-1 lead at the end of one period only to watch the Panthers rally to knot the score 4-4 heading into the final period. Edward Burkart, Dustin Rabinowitz and Jacob Segelbaum scored back-to-back-to-back goals in less than five minutes to open the third period to put the Trojans on top 7-4. Tennent’s PJ Partington broke the Trojans’ run with a goal, but Burkart and Luke Honorowski answered with goal to put the Trojans on top 9-5 before Brendan Sherwood scored for the Panthers.
The Trojans held a 27-13 advantage in shots. Luke Honorowski had a seven-point night with the hat trick and four assists to lead the Trojans while teammate Dustin Rabinowitz had three goals and three assists.

Wednesday, Nov. 13
LANSDALE CATHOLIC 12, ARCHBISHOP WOOD 5
Helen Cooney had herself a career night in the net for the Crusaders, turning away 47 shots. Her stellar showing negated the Vikings’ 52-29 advantage in shots and allowed the Crusaders to cruise to the win.
Michael Longhitano (three goals, four assists) and Andrew Hart (four goals, three assists) both had seven-point nights to lead the Crusaders. Bailey Nixon led the Vikings with three assists.
Wood struck first with a goal by Troy Potts, but the Crusaders answered with four goals in a nine-minute span to go on top 4-1. Anthony Valerio and Longhitano each scored a pair in LC’s run. A pair of goals by both Hart and John Volpe in the second period upped LC’s lead to 8-2, and another Hart goal to open the third period gave the Crusaders a seven-goal advantage before the Vikings made it interesting with three unanswered goals. Matt Mandes scored a pair and Brett Katzianer had a single goal to make it an 8-5 game, but that’s as close as the Vikings would get.

Kenny Doak had a monster night in the net for the Bucks, turning away 49 of the 51 shots he faced to propel the Bucks to the big win. The Trojans held a lopsided 51-27 advantage in shots on goal, but it was negated by the brilliant performance of Doak.
Tanner Ginn led the Bucks with three goals and an assist while Shawn Philipps added three assists.
The two teams were deadlocked after West’s Patrick Smith and Wissahickon’s Jacob Segelbaum exchanged goals in the opening minutes of the game. A power play goal by Eric Schwass (Shawn Germann assist) just under 10 minutes into the game gave the Bucks a lead they would not lose. The Bucks went on to open up a 6-1 lead after two periods and never looked back.

The Knights took a tenuous 2-1 lead into the third period when they exploded for three straight goals in just over four minutes to seize control of the game. Jeremy Snyder led the Knights with a goal and an assist.
Matthew Stella (Christian Ahn assist) scored the lone goal of the first period. Snyder (Nick Capasso assist) scored 8:36 into the second period, but just over a minute later, Nick Foster (Matt Kaleck assist) cut the Knights lead in half with a goal for the ‘Skins. Goals by Saylor, Stella and Derek Heckler to open the third period put the Knights on top 5-1 on their way to the win.
