North Penn 3, Ridley 2 (10 innings)
The Maidens needed some late-game heroics to earn the non-league win. Trailing 2-0 entering the bottom of the sixth, sophomore Michelle Holweger hit a solo home run to cut the deficit in half, and then just one out away from a loss in the seventh, sophomore Jenn Halcovage delivered a clutch single up the middle that plated Taylor Machozzi, who reached base on an error.
Two scoreless innings followed, and with the international tiebreaker in effect in the 10th, Kellianna Bradstreet retired the Green Raiders in the top of the inning, and the Maidens won it in the bottom of the frame when freshman Michelle Rauch laid down a successful suicide squeeze, plating Missy Ferdock from third with the game winner.
Bradstreet remained perfect on the season, earning her ninth win without a loss.
