Pennridge 2, Central Bucks West 0

The Rams plated single runs in the second and seventh innings, and that was more than enough for freshman Paige Decew, who notched the win on the mound. Decew scattered five hits in the shutout.
Alexis Detweiler contributed a triple for the Rams while Sarah Yerk was 2-for-4. All told, the Rams collected six hits off West hurler Taylor Bobek.
With the win, the Rams upped their record to 8-4.
Wissahickon 5, Springfield 1
The Trojans scored a pair of runs in the first, added a single run in the second and put two more runs on the scoreboard in the fourth. They pounded out 11 hits, including a triple from Rebecca Marinucci and a double from Gretchen Gualiagnone. Karen Laksh, Colleen Lynch and Alex Comitski also contributed hits.
Katie Ziegler fanned 11 and allowed just four hits in a strong effort on the mound.
Norristown 7, Upper Moreland 0
Sammy Kidd had a big day at the plate for the Eagles, contributing a three-run homerun as well as a single. Also contributing hits for the Eagles were Daisy Foster, Gabbie Berry and Devon King (double). Foster tossed a complete game two-hit shutout, striking out eight and walking none. She took a no-hitter into the sixth inning.
The Eagles return to action on Wednesday when they will face William Tennent in a non-league contest.
