National Conference
Pennsbury 47, Neshaminy 23
The Falcons were firing on all cylinders against their archrival.
“A couple of toss-up matches went our way and a couple of guys changed their fortune against guys they had lost to before,” said Pennsbury coach Philip Kealy.
For example, 106-pounder Eric Mangiello had lost to Sam Rudolph 8-4 at the Governor Mifflin Tournament last week and avenged that setback with a 4-2 victory.
Luke Zaccarelli, who doesn’t have a lot of wins this year at 285, went out and pinned.
“He was very workmanlike and did an outstanding job,” said Kealy.
Jason Bing (120), Josh DiSanto (132) and David Mills (152) also recorded falls for the Falcons, while Luke Kowal majored at 145.
Neshaminy’s Ryan O’Connor (138) won 9-5.

“It was a good win for us,” said South coach Brad Silimperi. “We lost the last time out, and it was a nice way to come out and rebound. Our kids are making improvements.”
Kevin Flack looked good for the Panthers as he pinned Rob Zimmerman in 1:45. The Panthers also got falls from Boris Sokhiev (145) and Bob Barone (160).
