Third Annual Souderton 5 Miler…Miles of Memories
On Oct. 13, 9 a.m., the third annual Souderton 5 Miler…Miles of Memories to raise money for the Tracy Hottenstein Scholarship Fund and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society will be held, beginning and ending at Souderton Area High School, 625 Lower Road, Souderton, PA 18964. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. The event will be held rain or shine. Water stations are provided throughout the course.
Awards will be given to the top male and female winners plus the top finisher in the various age groups. The fee is $35 for the 5 miler, $20 for the one-mile walk and $10 for the kid’s fun run (non-competitive, untimed, short run on the school grounds). All kids will receive a medal, grab bags and a cotton t-shirt for participating. All runners and walkers receive a long sleeve t-shirt, goodie bag (while supplies last), snacks, beverages, door prizes and a free raffle ticket for raffle prizes. There will be a DJ, face painting and much more.
Proceeds will go to the Tracy Hottenstein Scholarship Fun (benefitting a Souderton Senior High School student) and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
