Souderton Girls’ Wrestling (Week 1)
The Souderton Girls Wrestling Team travelled to the Quakertown Girls Invitational on Saturday. Other girls’ teams included Quakertown, North Penn, Parkland, Bensalem, Octorara, William Tennent and Hatboro Horsham.
dJunior Gisele Ramirez started the season strong going 4-0 with 4 falls and 9 takedowns on the day at 124. Sophomore Gianna Garrison in her very first season went 0-4 at 130 but gained a ton of confidence as the day went on. The girls’ team will be back in action on December 28th at the Governor Mifflin Girls Invitational which is supposed to have near 300 girls in attendance.
