Ten Souderton track athletes competed across the US at three different national venues...
Destini Smith was crowned National Champion at Nike Nationals U20 in the Triple Jump at Oregon with a mark of 42-7.5 on Thursday evening. She then flew back across the map and competed at New Balance Nationals in Philly on Saturday afternoon where she finished 2nd overall in the Triple Jump with a mark of 42-3.25.
The Shuttle Hurdle Relay of Savannah Powlus, Laysha Lee, Aubrie Weismantel and Isiyah McFadden finished 2nd overall in the Championship division of Adidas Nationals. Their mark of 1:05.51 increased the PA#1 and school record standard and earned them All-American Status.
Aubrie Weismantel won her heat in both the 400 Open and 400M Hurdles. In the 400M Hurdles, she broke the school record held by Chelsea Hicks with a time of 1:05.93 (beat previous mark by 3.89), while also finishing top 15 out of 90+ competitors. She just missed breaking the school record in the 400 open by 0.27 while competing in 95-degree heat. Her time of 58.28 was good for 16th overall out of 90+ competitors.
Janae Pettaway finished off her high school career at NBNO, running a state standard mark of 12.39 in the 100M hurdles.

4x100 Relay of Isiyah, Laysha, Brooke Wagner and Savannah finished 23rd out of 73 schools with a time of 49.99
Leah Dufraine competed in the Freshman 400, finishing with a time of 1:02.72
The 4x400 relay of Brooke Wagner, Leah Dufraine, Jackie Lee and Autumn Wagner finished 12th out of 40+ schools...Brooke and Autmn each set PRs for their splits (with Autmn nearly 2 seconds faster then PR with a 1:01.82)
