WISSACHIKON at DOWNINGTOWN EAST (Wissahickon 38, Downingtown East 35)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Game – Dave Stellato, Wissahickon
The Trojans’ junior running back rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns, and he was the catalyst in the six-plus minute drive that set up the game-winning field goal.
Coach Jeff Cappa says. “Dave’s a hardworking player both on and off the field. He is always focused and practices at game speed all the time. He’s a tremendous athlete because of his work ethic. Dave also is an outstanding sprinter on the track team.”
Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Game – Randy Frankenfield, Wissahickon
The senior quarterback also lines up at outside linebacker for the Trojans, and it was Frankenfield who helped create problems for the Cougars’ high-powered offense by disguising the Trojans’ coverages and blitzes.
Coach Jeff Cappa says: “Randy caused a lot of problems to the blocking schemes of Downingtown East. He disguised our coverages and blitzes, causing a lot of havoc to their no-huddle offense. Randy is an exceptional player for Wissahickon and is a terrific student. He is one of the toughest football players I have ever coached.”
Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Randy Frankenfield (snapper), Gordon Bentley (holder), Greg McDonough (kicker), Wissahickon
The trio combined to set up the Trojans’ game-winning field goal. McDonough nailed a 22-yarder as time expired in regulation to propel the Trojans to the huge win.
Coach Jeff Cappa says: “All three are senior leaders on the team. Each of them are multi-sport athletes and excel in the classroom. Our team has a lot of confidence in them, which was evident in the game-winning field goal. All three players also start on offense and defense. Both Gordon and Greg also returned kicks to set up our offense for important scores in the second half.”
NESHAMINY at PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH (Neshaminy 42, Plymouth Whitemarsh 21)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Game – Nate Hall, Neshaminy
The Redskins’ senior running back had 28 carries for 128 yards and four touchdowns.
Coach Mark Schmidt says: “Nate’s starting to play a little better. He has had some good games, and he’s had some games where I think he could play better, but I think he runs hard and gives you everything he has. He’s certainly a guy that’s really helped us all year. He’s a guy that has helped us pull out some games. Every week we want to see him keep improving and getting better. If that happens, then we’ll be okay.”
Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Game – Tosh Thompson, Neshaminy
Thompson had a big day on defense, contributing five solo tackles, two assists, 2.5 tackles for a loss, one sack and one caused turnover.”
Coach Mark Schmidt says: “Tosh is a great kid. He’s a guy I’ve kicked off this team two or three times. He’s come back this year with a really good attitude and had an opportunity early in the year to get on the field, and he won’t let anybody take his job. He’s a smart football player, and he’s really learning to see things, he’s diagnosing plays very well, and we’re real happy to have him out there.”
Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Nick Tucci, Neshaminy
The senior placekicker had seven kickoffs for 351 yards (50-yard average), and he also was a perfect 6-for-6 on PAT kicks.
Coach Mark Schmidt says: “The biggest problem with Tuc during the season – he had a foot injury and couldn’t kick very well. It kind of hurt his stats. The soccer team finished its season in the playoffs, and he revved it up a little bit. Now he’s back to kicking the way he did last year. I’m happy for that, and he’s certainly been a lot more productive. He’s a good kid.”
ABINGTON at PENNRIDGE (Pennridge 35, Abington 14)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Game – Mike Class, Pennridge
The Rams’ standout running back rushed for 290 yards and four touchdowns.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says: “He provided huge plays on offense all night long. Mike being Mike…”
Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Game – Mike Supp, Pennrige
The defensive lineman had a pair of big sacks and helped anchor a standout defensive effort.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says: “Mike had two huge sacks and was in the Abington backfield all night – he was very disruptive.”

The senior linebacker has been an important contributor on special teams.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says: “Zack was solid on special teams and is developing into a very good special teams player for us.”
BAYARD RUSTIN at PENNSBURY (Pennsbury 21, Rustin 13)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Game – Breon Clark, Pennsbury
The Falcons’ sophomore quarterback threw just three passes but connected on all three, which included a pair of touchdowns.
Coach Galen Snyder says: “He’s done very well. From first learning the offense at camp to where he is now, he’s done a great job.”
Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Game – Blake Kovin, Pennsbury
The senior defensive tackle led the Falcons with 10 tackles.
Coach Galen Snyder says: “He’s done a good job, and this was probably his best game. Ten tackles is a lot of tackles for a defensive tackle.”
Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Brandon Garrett, Pennsbury
Garrett had a big 40-yard punt return to put the Falcons in scoring position.
Coach Galen Snyder says: “We started putting him back deep after the first few games, and he’s done a great job for us.”
HAVERFORD at CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH (Central Bucks South 38, Haverford 14)
Sterling Limousine Offensive/Defensive Players of the Game – Tyler Paradysz & Mike McDermott, Central Bucks South
The senior duo anchored both the offensive and defensive lines for the Titans – at tackle on offense and at defensive end on the other side of the ball.
Coach Dave Rackovan says: “They have been special. All year they have been unbelievable blockers and players at both of their positions respectively. They play the whole game both offensively and defensively. They’re the leaders of our offensive and defensive lines. They set the edge on defense, and they’re just guys that – without them, nothing would function on our offense. Too often they get no limelight, but both of them are special in their own regard.”
Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Tommy DiBrino, Central Bucks South
DiBrino is a punt returner who also is part of the Titans’ kickoff coverage and PAT block team.
Coach Dave Rackovan says: “He’s not only a great special teams player, he’s one of the leaders in the secondary. He has been flying under the radar all fall also. He catches punts for us and does everything we ask of him. He’s one of those players you can’t do without.”
