Sterling Limousine and Transportation Services of Wrightstown is proud to recognize the Players of the Week for each conference. Players are chosen based on the nomination of coaches.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Sterling Limousine National Conference Two-Way Player of the Week –Trystin Hunt, Harry S Truman
The junior running back/linebacker had 14 carries for 75 yards, and on the defensive side of the football, he had 11 tackles, which included two tackles for a loss and one sack in Truman’s 29-0 win over William Tennent
Coach Ed Cubbage says:  “Trystin had a tremendous all-around game. Not only did he dominate physically, but he made the right calls and checks to set our defense throughout the entire night.”

Sterling Limousine National Conference Defensive Player of the Week – Alex Nicolas, Neshaminy
The senior lineman has four tackles, two tackles for a loss and one sack to lead the Redskins' standout defensive unit in Neshaminy's 49-7 route of Bensalem.

Coach Mark Schmidt says:  “Alex did a great job handling Bensalem’s inside trap game, which had really hurt teams throughout the season. He faces a great test Friday against an Abington offensive line, which is the biggest we’ve faced all year. We will need another strong outing from Alex and the defensive line against a high-powered and diverse Ghost offense.”

CONTINENTAL CONFERENCE

Sterling Limousine Continental Conference Two-Way Player of the Game – John O’Malley, Hatboro-Horsham
The junior wide receiver had six catches for 198 yards and one touchdown in the Hatters’ game against Central Bucks West. In addition, he had nine carries for 94 yards and one touchdown. He also contributed defensively.

Coach Michael Kapusta says:  “John continues to improve as an all-around football player. He is truly a triple threat with the ability to run great routes and make the routine and the spectacular catch. He’s proven his ability to line up in the backfield and run inside and outside the tackles, and most notably, he has been blocking very well. On the defensive side of the ball, he makes plays and covers the field against the run and pass.”

Sterling Limousine Continental Offensive Players of the Week  - Central Bucks East Offensive Line: Liam Kolar, Alex Jordan, Jason Achenbach, Jake Duncan, Mark Remmey
The offensive line paved the way for the Patriots to accumulate 333 yards on the ground in East’s 28-21 win over Central Bucks South. Alex Gibson had 193 yards rushing and Brian Passman added 141 yards. The line is coached by Jason Knipe and Dave Perrine
Coach John Donnelly says:  “The guys on the offensive line are talented, tough and deserve big time credit for our success over the last four games.”

Sterling Limousine Continental Conference Defensive Player of the Week –Connor Pattyson, Central Bucks East
The junior defensive back led the Patriots’ defense with 12 tackles in East’s 28-21 win over Central Bucks South.
Coach John Donnelly says:  “Connor continues to produce big numbers each week. Last Friday he registered 12 more tackles to add to his team leading 77 tackles. What is remarkable about his success as a defender is that I think he was more focused on the other side of the ball last year. This year he has turned into a solid defensive back as a junior, so he still has room to grow and improve. East football runs through his veins as his father Chris played for the Patriots back in the mid ‘80s.”

AMERICAN CONFERENCE

Sterling Limousine American Conference Two-Way Player of the Week – Chris Myarick, Cheltenham
The Panthers’ senior tight end and defensive end had a big night on both sides of the ball in Cheltenham’s 42-28 win over Upper Moreland. Offensively, he had seven catches, which included two touchdown receptions, and defensively, he led the way with two quarterback sacks, one blocked pass and eight unassisted tackles.
Coach Joe Gro says:  “Chris stands out with everything he does and never flaunts it. He is very humble and a great teammate.”

Sterling Limousine American Conference Offensive Player of the Week – Connor Hanlon, Plymouth Whitemarsh
The PW quarterback turned in another monster performance, accumulating 293 total yards of offense and four touchdowns in the Colonials’ 42-21 win over Norristown. Hanlon had 187 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries and also completed 6-of-8 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
Coach Dan Chang says:  “Connor was outstanding for us on Friday night. He is about as poised and confident on the field as any quarterback that I’ve been around. A lot of his success comes from his preparation. He is a true student of the game and spends a great deal of time watching opposing defenses and understanding what they are trying to do. In addition to throwing some nice balls, he showed that he is deceptively fast and can make guys miss in the open field.”
