STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Sterling Limo Offensive Players of the Game:
First Star: Koby Khan, Souderton –
The senior running back is not only rewriting the record books at Souderton but has played a key role in keeping the team’s playoff hopes alive. Khan had 15 carries for 201 yards in two touchdowns in the Indians’ 35-7 win over Harry S Truman.
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Koby Khan has had an excellent season. He's a strong runner with good vision, and it usually takes more than one defender to bring him to the ground. He's rushed for 1207 yards and 15 TDs, while also catching 12 passes for another 236 yards and two TDs. That comes to over 160 yards from scrimmage per game, and right around two TDs per game, so he's been very consistent and efficient. Friday night was his first 200 yard game of his career.”

First Star: Upper Dublin Offensive Line (Max Weinberg, Chris McDermott, Jason O’Gara, Zhaire Lee, Quinten Derr and tight end Ryan O’Gara) – The offensive line opened holes that led to 413 total rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns in Upper Dublin’s 42-21 win over Hatboro-Horsham.
Coach Bret Stover says:  “I was extremely pleased with the way these guys came out and controlled the line of scrimmage from the opening quarter. With only one starter back on the entire offense (Zhaire Lee) from 2015, I think it took them a while to put their best game together. On Friday night, they put together one of the most impressive performances I've had the opportunity to be a part of and they made it real easy for us to call the game.”

Third Star: Blaise Gravinese & Dontae Wilson, Plymouth Whitemarsh – In less than ideal weather, the duo helped lead the Colonials to the come-from-behind win, carrying the ball on almost every play in a torrential downpour in the second half of PW’s 26-20 overtime win over Cheltenham. Gravinese had 153 yards on 19 carries while Wilson had 140 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries. Wilson took it in from 10 yards out for the game-winning score in OT.

Third Star: Sam Thompson, Central Bucks South – Thompson stepped in at quarterback for Jack Johns (injury) and threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 111 yards in Central Bucks South 21-14 win over Pennridge.

Sterling Limo Defensive Players of the Game:
First star: Trevor Watts, Souderton –
The junior defensive lineman had seven tackles – three for a loss – and two sacks to spearhead a defense that allowed just 110 total yards and only 19 on the ground in Souderton’s 35-7 win over Harry S. Truman.
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “Trevor has played a huge role on our defensive line, with 33 total tackles (eight for loss) and four sacks. He had two sacks last Friday night against Truman, which really helped us to shut down their potent offense. Trevor also is one of our best offensive linemen, who has led the way for Koby on most plays.”

Second star: Mike Glauber, Central Bucks East – The senior middle linebacker had nine tackles – four for a loss – and also had two quarterback hurries in Central Bucks East’s 23-6 win over Central Bucks West.

Third star:  Jacob Gordon, Neshaminy – The senior defensive back had a pair of interceptions, including a 28-yard return for a touchdown in Neshaminy’s 42-7 win over Council Rock South. He also had one pass breakup and two third down stops.

Sterling Limo Special Teams Players of the Game
First star:  Barney Amor, Central Bucks East –
The East senior set a school record by connecting on a 50-yard field goal in Central Bucks East’s 23-6 win over Central Bucks West, breaking his own record he’d set earlier this year. He also set the career total field goal record.
Coach John Donnelly says:  “Barney continues to be a major weapon for us in the kicking game. He is constantly working on his craft to excel to greater heights. We are fortunate that he is on our team.”

Second star:  Dylan McDonald, Neshaminy – The senior kicker was a perfect 6-for-6 on PATs and had seven kickoffs for 259 yards.

Third star:  Dylan Molyneaux, Central Bucks South – The senior kicker connected on 5-of-5 PATs.

SOL Honor Roll:
Malcolm Carey, Neshaminy –
The senior running back ran for 112 yards and one touchdown in Bensalem’s 21-20 win over Council Rock North.
Nick Dillon, North Penn – The junior running back had 108 rushing yards and four touchdowns in North Penn’s 52-6 win over William Tennent.
Rob Fund, Bensalem – The senior cornerback played both ways in Bensalem’s come-from-behind 21-20 win over Council Rock North. Filling in for the injured Drasaun Moore, Fund was poised behind center and delivered an eight-yard TD pass to Isaiah Murray for the game-winning score.
Mason Jones, Neshaminy – The senior quarterback completed 11-of-17 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns and also had three carries for 64 yards in Neshaminy’s 42-7 win over Council Rock South. Jones eclipsed the 2,000-yard milestone in passing yards for the season.
Darryl Davis-McNeil, Abington – The junior running back had 207 yards and two touchdowns, including a 29-yard TD run to break a 13-13 tie in Abington’s 20-13 win over Pennsbury.
Wes Verbit, Central Bucks East – The senior wide receiver hauled in four passes for 101 yards in Central Bucks East’s 23-6 win over Central Bucks West.
