STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Sterling Limo Offensive Players of the Game:
First star: Oleh Manzyk, Neshaminy –
The sophomore tight end had six catches for 209 yards and three touchdowns in Neshaminy’s come-from-behind 26-21 win over Pennridge in a game the Redskins trailed 21-7 at halftime. His 76-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter made it a 21-14 game, and he also hauled in an 11-yard TD pass that put the ‘Skins on top 26-21.
Coach Steve Wilmot says:  “Oleh is continuing to have a breakout sophomore season on offense and defense. He is a gifted athlete with a lot of football smarts. He and Mason Jones are really starting to develop great chemistry, much like Mason and Zach Tredway have. It seems like his biggest catches come when we need them the most.”

Second star: Koby Khan, Souderton – The senior running back closed out his high school career with another stellar outing in Souderton’s 33-21 loss to Downingtown East. Khan had 182 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. He also had four receptions for 35 yards.

Third star: North Penn’s Offensive Line (Keith Caputo - left tackle, Joe Cataldi - left guard, Matt Bevan - center, Ryan Cody - right guard, and Bobby Ryan - right tackle, along with tight ends Owen Thomas and Nick Vasger) –The offensive line dominated play in North Penn’s 56-7 win over Haverford, allowing the Knights to open up a 42-7 halftime lead.

Sterling Limo Defensive Players of the Game:

First star: Max Winebrake, Upper Dublin – The junior middle linebacker turned in a monster performance in Upper Dublin’s 34-20 win over Strath Haven, finishing with 14 tackles, two sacks and an interception. Strath Haven took an early 7-0 lead but did not score again until the starters had been replaced in the fourth quarter with UD on top 34-7.
Coach Bret Stover says:  “Max is a student of the game. He watches film, and he’s always in the right spot, and if he’s not in the right spot, he can tell you why he’s not in the right spot. Max absolutely took it personally when they put seven points up on us. It woke us up. Max is one our leaders. He’s a quiet kid – he’s not a big rah rah kid out on the field. He does his talking between the whistles. He gets the guys in the right spots before the snap, he gets where he needs to go and gets everybody going in the right direction.”

Second star:  Nick Blessing, Souderton – The Indians’ senior once again came up big, finishing with 10 tackles in Souderton’s 33-21 loss to Downingtown East in a contest that was deadlocked 14-14 heading into the final quarter.

Third star: Eddie Parry, Neshaminy – The Redskins’ senior defensive end had six tackles – two for losses – and one quarterback hurry in Neshaminy’s 26-21 win over Pennridge.

Sterling Limo Special Teams Players of the Game
First star: Savion Hebron, Neshaminy –
The sophomore wide receiver/defensive back blocked a punt in Neshaminy’s 26-21 win over Pennridge.
Coach Steve Wilmot says:  “Savion is a very gifted athlete with a terrific attitude to go with it. His speed brings another dimension to our special teams. Look to hear his name a lot in the next couple of years.”

SOL Honor Roll:
