NATIONAL CONFERENCE
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Week – Craig Reynolds, Abington
The senior running back had another monster game for the Ghosts, accumulating 298 yards on the ground with four touchdowns in the Ghosts’ 41-6 win over Council Rock North.
Coach Tim Sorber says: Craig had an outstanding effort against CR North, besides 298 yards rushing, he made two touchdown saving tackles from the Safety that lead to two goal line stands. He also had two pass break-ups in the game. A outstanding effort by an outstanding player.
Sterling Limousine Linemen of the Week – Dan Johnson, Neshaminy, and John Koch, Neshaminy
The senior duo anchored a Redskins’ offensive line that dominated the line of scrimmage in Neshaminy’s 41-7 win over William Tennent, creating holes for an offense that produced 248 yards rushing. Johnson, a senior, lines up at guard, and Koch, also a senior, is the center.
Coach Mark Schmidt says: “John and Dave have had a very solid start to the season. We challenged our offensive line to raise their level of play in week four, and they responded. Their leadership will be crucial this week as we face an experienced, physical Truman defense."
Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Week - Dorian Arthur, Neshaminy
The senior defensive lineman was a key member of the Redskins’ defensive line that once again dominated its opponent. Arthur was credited with five solo tackles, three tackles for a loss, two sacks and one pass breakup for a defense that limited Tennent to 154 yards of total offense.
Coach Mark Schmidt says: “Dorian has always been a player with tremendous physical ability and athleticism. However, this year he is developing a better understanding of the game and because of that has become very productive. His play at the defensive end position will be critical against Truman’s option offense.”

Coach Jeffrey Hollenbach says: “Mike had 231 yards against a fast defense. His 52-yard run in the fourth quarter was an amazing run at any level. He also played a significant amount of defense to help slow down an athletic Academy Park team.”
Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Week – Micah Stutzman, Pennridge
The senior defensive back had five tackles, three assists and two interceptions for the Rams’ in their non-league win over Academy Park.
Coach Jeffrey Hollenbach says: “Mike had two excellent interceptions among many open field tackles. One interception was in the end zone and the other stopped a third quarter drive. He also had an amazing 45-yard reception on offense.”
Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Week – Corey Schott, Central Bucks West
The Bucks’ senior wide receiver/defensive back returned Souderton’s opening kick-off 70 yards for a TD to lift the Bucks to their first win over the Indians since 2008.
Coach Brian Hensel says: “Corey has done some special stuff for us the last two years. We saw some things on film that we thought we could take advantage of against Souderton. We worked pretty hard this past week in terms of special teams to make a difference for us in the game, and it turned out it was pretty much the thing that separated us. It proved to be the difference maker for us in the game.”
AMERICAN CONFERENCE
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Week – John Lee, Upper Dublin
The junior fullback/linebacker ran for 125 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries in the Flying Cardinals’ 45-28 win over Wissahickon. He also caught one pass for 15 yards. He had a big run on third-and-two from the Upper Dublin eight-yard line that was one of the turning points in the game in helping to erase a 14-point lead Wisshaickon had established.
Coach Bret Stover says: “John is one of the hardest workers both on and off the field. He does a lot of the dirty work for us offensively, carrying the ball between the tackles for those tough yards or matching up in pass protection. John set up three of our touchdowns on Friday night and then led our running back into the end zone on all three as a lead blocker.”
Sterling Limousine Two-Way Player of the Week – Marten Worgan, Springfield
The senior running back turned in his best performance of the year, rushing for 215 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries in a tough 28-26 loss to Cheltenham. He also had a big interception that stopped a Cheltenham drive in the end zone.
Coach Chris Shelly says: “This was his best performance to date, but we have come to expect this from him. He’s super talented, fast and tough as nails and played with a badly sprained wrist on Friday night.””
