PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Chris Kohlbrenner, Upper Dublin – The senior safety/wide receiver was a factor on both sides of the football in Upper Dublin’s 17-10 win over Council Rock South in a key conference battle. On the defensive side, Kohlbrenner had eight tackles, and on offense, the senior wide receiver turned a pass in the flat into a 70-yard touchdown that gave Upper Dublin a lead they would never lose at 14-7. He finished the game with four receptions for 100 yards.

Coach Bret Stover says:  “Chris Kohlbrenner – (quarterback Kevin Etkin) threw a ball to him in the flat. His individual effort – there were three or four guys around him, and he went in and out, in and out three times, and he was up to top speed down the sidelines. It was like – how did that just happen? That’s the type of player Chris is.”
