STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Aiden Eves, North Penn –Aiden Eves is listed on North Penn’s roster as a tight end/linebacker but was pressed into emergency duty at quarterback. The junior QB was a catalyst in the Knights’ 24-21 come-from-behind victory over Pennsbury in a game they trailed 21-7 at halftime. Eves finished the game with 13 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown, and he also was 6-for-9 passing for 141 yards and a touchdown. His 40-yard completion to Rashad McNeill at the Falcons’ 19-yard line set up Ryan Bocklet’s game-winning 40-yard field goal in the game’s closing seconds. The win was key in North Penn’s quest for a district playoff berth.

Coach Dick Beck says:  There’s not enough superlatives that I could say about Aidan Eves. Unbelievable, and it’s not even just running tough and throwing strikes. It’s running the offense, getting the motion moving, getting the snap count, handling the ball, handing it off.
“The guy didn’t take a snap at quarterback for three years. When our quarterback got hurt against Neshaminy and our backup quarterback got hurt in that same game, he goes in without a snap all year and wins the Neshaminy game with a touchdown throw over the middle and then wins this game. I don’t know what else to say. He was just phenomenal, just phenomenal.”
