PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Central Bucks South offensive line: left tackle Kieran Padgett, left guard Nick Micewski, center Nick Conte, right guard Rolan Hess and right tackle Collin Goetter as well as tight end Jake Menaker: The offensive line paved the way for 440 rushing yards in Central Bucks South’s 42-14 win over Central Bucks West in the District 1 6A semifinal game. Anthony Leonardi’s 285 yards on 22 carries led the way for the Titans’ unstoppable ground game.

Coach Tom Hetrick says: “I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve been coaching high school football for almost 30 years. I’ve been part of very good offensive lines, but these kids - left to right tackle – do some very elite things. Our tight end – Jake Menaker – gets involved and has sort of brought himself into that corral. Our fullbacks – Sean Moskowitz, Eddie Bowen – are very physical people. We just have guys – I don’t have to motivate them. They just have this intrinsic want to be out there and be physical, and it’s a pretty cool thing to watch.”
