Central Bucks South Player of the Week

Eddie Bowen – The senior defensive end was the catalyst of a stellar defensive effort in Central Bucks South’s 35-0 shutout win over a Plymouth Whitemarsh squad that was averaging over 30 points a game in its nine wins. The Titans allowed just 128 total yards of offense and only 25 rushing yards on 25 carries in the District 1 6A quarterfinal contest. Bowen had two sacks and three tackles for loss to lead the defense.

Central Bucks West Player of the Week

Noah Miller – The Bucks’ senior quarterback led the offense in Central Bucks West’s 35-21 win over Downingtown East in a District 1 6A quarterfinal game. Miller had 183 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries, and he also handled the team’s punting duties, punting five times for an average of 37.8 yards a punt.

North Penn Player of the Week

Aidan Eves – The senior defensive end found himself playing noseguard for the first time in North Penn’s 29-21 win over Ridley in a District 1 6A quarterfinal contest. Eves made an impact and led the Knights’ defense with seven tackles – which included two tackles for a loss – and also caused two fumbles.

Upper Dublin Players of the Week

Kevin Etkin & Ryan O’Sullivan – The two seniors had monster offensive games in Upper Dublin’s 35-28 win over Phoenixville in a wild District 1 5A quarterfinal contest. Etkin threw for 306 yards and four touchdowns with O’Sullivan his favorite target. The senior wide receiver hauled in 14 passes for 137 yards and three touchdowns.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Sterling Limo Honor Roll:
Ryan Clemens, Central Bucks West – The senior running back contributed on both sides of the football in Central Bucks West’s 35-21 win over Downingtown East. Clemens had 12 carries for 114 yards and two touchdowns. He also had five tackles, including two tackles for loss.

Matt Pownall, North Penn – The junior defensive back/running back came up big on both sides of the football in North Penn’s 29-21 win over Ridley. Pownall had a huge interception late in the game and then – on his team’s next offensive series – raced 79 yards for a touchdown that gave the Knights their final margin of victory. He finished the game with 138 yards on 18 carries.

Justin Waugh, Upper Dublin – The junior defensive end led the defense in Upper Dublin’s 35-28 win over Phoenixville, finishing with eight tackles and a sack.
