STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ethan Shine, Central Bucks East - The junior running back rushed 34 times for 259 yards and two touchdowns in Central Bucks East’s 24-19 win over Central Bucks South in last Friday’s rivalry game. With that effort, Shine goes in the record books at CB East, ranked third for rushing attempts and rushing yards in a game.
Coach John Donnelly says: “Ethan had a big night against South. He showed great power, vision, balance and speed. He is really tough to handle at 225 pounds when he gets a head of steam going. He’s a great kid, and he’ll be the first one to tell you that it’s a team sport and a ton of credit goes to the O-line, tight ends, and fullbacks.”

DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Central Bucks West Defense: Casey Smith, Cooper Taylor, Austin Hahn, Sean Blue, Jeremy Goldrick, Jack Wierzbowski, Trot Lare, Donte Mancini, Colin Newman, Isaiah Thomas & Charlie Naso – The Bucks’ defense dominated play in Central Bucks West’s 21-0 shutout win over Abington. The Ghosts managed just 58 yards on the ground and less than 200 yards total offense.
Coach Rob Rowan says: “Any time you get a shutout, there are collectively 11 guys on the field all working together. I saw another level of physicality and pursuing and tackling the football that I hadn’t seen prior. At the end of the day, it’s a combination of playing assignment football and doing that with an intention to get to the football consistently and gang tackle. That’s what we preach – do your job, rally to the football, and when you have the opportunity to make plays, make plays, and I think our guys did last Friday.”

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Elijah Goods, Souderton – The versatile junior scored three touchdowns – one on offense, one on defense and one on special teams. His two first-quarter touchdowns ignited the Indians on their way to a 49-16 win over Council Rock South. Goods returned an interception 90 yards to put the Indians on top 14-7, and his 48-yard punt return for a touchdown gave the Indians a 21-7 lead on their way to the big win.
Coach Ed Gallagher says: “Elijah Goods was really good. He scored three times in three different ways. I’m not sure when the last time was that somebody did that. His pick six was (90) yards. It was a really impressive runback on the interception.”
