Hatboro-Horsham High School Hires Football Coach

Hatboro-Horsham High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Coach Thomas Butts. Coach Butts will serve as the Hatters Head Football Coach for the 2023-2024 season.
Coach Butts has served the Hatboro-Horsham school district since 1999 as a Health and Physical Education teacher and department chair. Working with a wide variety of student-athletes, Coach Butts has 20-plus years of high school coaching experience, including a stint as an interim head coach and offensive coordinator at Hatboro Horsham in the early 2000’s. Most recently, coach Butts was the offensive coordinator at Central Bucks High School West, aiding the team to a PIAA district one playoff berth.
“We are excited to announce Coach Thomas Butts as the head football coach at Hatboro-Horsham High School. Our search produced several qualified candidates and involved a selection process that was very competitive. Tom and his staff bring many years of coaching experience and will ensure a solid foundation for our student-athletes, while building on the legacy of that program and engaging the community.” Hatboro-Horsham Athletic Director Chas Cathers said. “Tom’s unwavering leadership, hard work and dedication to the Hatboro-Horsham school and community will benefit in building leadership capacity in our student-athletes, making them not only better athletes but better individuals.”
