Univest’s SuburbanOneSports.com Featured Female Athlete (Week of April 5)
Sarah Senoyuit is the captain of Pennridge’s defending district runner-up and Colonial Conference championship soccer squad, but leading the team is just part of the equation for the gifted senior, who has devoted most of her athletic life to soccer. Senoyuit is a versatile player who excels at any position from center back to front runner. “She is one of our better technical players, if not the best,” Pennridge coach Jorge Rodriguez said. “She puts the time into her technique. Her forte is distributing and creating opportunities to score for other players, not just herself. She has one of the strongest shots on our team and in the area.”
An accomplished musician, Senoyuit is first chair, second violin in the school orchestra. She is also a member of the senior class executive council and Best Buddies, an international organization that works with disabled children.
Senoyuit boasts a 4.32 grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society. She has accepted a scholarship to play soccer at the University of Dayton where she plans to major in psychology.

Univest’s SuburbanOneSports.com Featured Male Athlete (Week of April 5)
Pat Traczykiewicz was the starting quarterback for William Tennent’s football team, but baseball is his sport of choice, and he has excelled. Last year, the senior outfielder, who also sees time on the mound, hit .422 and had a hit in 18 of 19 games. He boasted an ERA of 2.30, and this season he has picked up where he left off. “The kid is a good solid ballplayer,” Tennent coach Chris Marchok said. “There are kids that are stronger, there are kids that are faster, there are kids with stronger arms, but the bottom line is this kid puts together all the tools and works harder than anyone.” Beyond the skills he brings to the diamond, Traczykiewicz is a role model to younger players. “The kid is perfection in terms of being mature and never doing something he shouldn’t do,” Marchok said. “When you talk to his guidance counselor, when you talk to his teachers, you can’t find anyone who talks negatively about how he is in the classroom and how he is with other people. He’s a great kid.”
Traczykiewicz is ranked 13th out of 544 Tennent seniors, and he carries a 5.1 GPA and takes all honors and AP classes. Next year he will be playing baseball for Division III powerhouse Johns Hopkins University.
