Lea Britton is a rare three-sport standout at Council Rock South. A captain of the field hockey, basketball and lacrosse teams, Britton is a selfless leader who will leave Rock South with 10 varsity letters. “There are a lot of kids out there that are good athletes, but they don’t have that something special,” lacrosse coach Kara DiMarco said. “Lea has that. What exactly is it? I don’t know. If I could put it in every single kid, I would. She’s just such a hard worker, and it always comes back to the team – what’s best for the team? It’s not about her stats. It’s all about the team, and that’s what made her so great.” The center defensive back of her field hockey team, Britton was the starting two guard on a basketball team that advanced to the second round of the state tournament in the program’s first ever trip to states. “She brings such leadership qualities to the team,” basketball coach Monica Young said. “She’s like a coach on the floor.” A four-year varsity player in lacrosse, Britton will lead the Golden Hawks at both ends of the field as the team’s center. She has accepted a lacrosse scholarship to Temple University.
A member of the National Honor Society, the French National Honor Society and the Math National Honor Society, Britton is in the top five percent of her class. She plans to major in kinesiology.

Kevin Bree was a major contributor to the success of Pennsbury’s football and wrestling teams. He did not lose a wrestling match this season until the District One North Tournament. He closed out his senior season with a 28-3 record and participated in the 21st Annual Delaware Valley Wrestling Officials All-Star Classic, which pits the best senior Pennsylvania All-Stars against a Central New Jersey All-Star lineup. A game-day captain in football and a captain of the wrestling team, Bree – who travels to the beat of his own drum - was named first team all-league linebacker in football and first team all-league 215-pounder in wrestling.  “He’s not way out there on a limb,” Pennsbury wrestling coach Joe Kiefer said. “At the same time, he would not be following the crowd. He’s a mature kid and recognizes when he’s getting too far away from that center line. He’ll stay within appropriate boundaries, but he likes to step off that center line a little bit and have a good time.” Bree sported a trademark moustache this year – the only facial hair a wrestler is allowed to have – until he lost his first match of the season.
Bree, who is a member of the National Honor Society, is deciding between Albright, Lycoming or Catholic University. He plans to play football although he has not entirely ruled out wrestling.
