Nasir Jones – Delaware Valley University (Football)

Major:  Secondary Education

Final list of colleges: Del Val, Alvernia, Millersville

Reasons for choosing Del Val: “It was a smart decision for me. I just loved the program that Del Val showed me.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in football at the collegiate level?  “Ever since I first started playing youth football, I just loved the sport. I loved the contact, I loved how physical everything is, and I loved the competition. It builds character, it built up everything about me  – I just love it.”

Coach Kevin Conlin says: “Nasir played outside linebacker and was first team all-league. He had a fantastic year not only with tackles behind the line of scrimmage but also with interceptions. He also had the second most touchdowns on our team because he was our short yardage back. He got a lot of touches doing that kind of thing on offense. He just had a fantastic year. He really improved from his junior year to his senior year, and that’s where Del Val was really impressed, and they’re hoping the sky’s the limit for Nasir at the next level.”
