Brady Tillotson – Bryant University (Softball)

Major:  History

Final list of colleges:  Bryant, Liberty, Campbell

Reasons for choosing Bryant:  “I first met the coach at a clinic last January, and during the clinic, I fell in love with the school when she was telling me about it, and I loved her coaching style. In June going into my senior, I committed. I just fell in love with her coaching style, and when I visited Bryant, I fell in love with the campus. I knew it was the school for me.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in softball at the collegiate level?  “I started playing softball in 2001, and I have never wanted to stop. It’s always been my dream to play in college, especially going D-1. I was set on that, and I didn’t want anything else.”

Coach Karl Knapp says:  “Brady is a four-year varsity starter at third base. She was a captain last year, and we haven’t elected captains yet, but she’ll be a captain again this year. She’s a very positive role model, and she’s a very aggressive player. She’s a leader on the team and is very valuable at third base. We have her batting fourth, and she’s one of the better hitters on our team.”

Former coach Erin Scott says:  “Brady brings a high level of intensity and enthusiasm to the team.  She is extremely positive and works really hard.  She is a huge threat offensively and also solid defensively with an extremely strong arm.  Because of all of these attributes, her teammates named her as a captain her junior year.”
