On Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, CB South seniors Alyson Cutter & Bridget Curtis were recognized for committing to continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level.
“Both Alyson and Bridget were phenomenal role models in the three years that I knew both players,” CB South coach Amy Moriarity said. “Aly and Bridge were both senior captains this year, and they did an exemplary job leading the team in an interesting year. Both girls are great leaders and positive influences to their fellow teammates. They were always organized and helpful to myself as a new coach this year. I’ll never forget how well they worked together and inspired the team through a challenging season, and I wish them the best of luck as they continue on this exciting journey into college.”
Bridget Curtis – Kutztown University (Soccer)
Major: Business Management
Final list of colleges: Kutztown, West Chester, St. Joe’s
Reasons for choosing Kutztown: “When I walked on the campus, I got that homey feeling, and I knew it was the exact place I wanted to spend my next four years at.”
What was the progression that led you to playing soccer at the collegiate level? “I always knew I wanted to play. My dad played soccer at West Chester, so I grew up living up to the legacy that he had.”

Reasons for choosing West Chester: “When I went to visit the campus, it was different than all the other colleges I visited. I just fell in love with it when I visited. I loved the coaches as well.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “I’ve been playing soccer since I was really little, and ever since I started at the age of four, I’ve always wanted to play in college.”
