On Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, Central Bucks South senior Ella Haag was recognized for committing to continue her field hockey career at Drexel University.

Reasons for choosing Drexel: “It felt like family there. My sister is on the team, so obviously, it brought me closer there, but the team just felt like a family.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in field hockey at the collegiate level? “I started thinking about it when I was a freshman because my sister started looking at colleges. When she started, I just knew I wanted to continue my career there too.”
Coach Kelli Chioffe says: “Ella Haag is an amazing student athlete. She was just named to the NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association) 2024 High School Impact Senior Team. Ella is genuine leader and the ultimate team player. She has a calm and patient demeanor and served as a one of our captains this year. She had such a huge presence on the field, and all the girls look up to her with great respect. We will miss her so much when she heads to Drexel, but we are so excited to her in the next level of play.”
