Eric Gross – Ursinus College (Baseball)

Major:  Undecided

Final list of colleges:  Ursinus, Bloomsburg, Gettysburg

Reasons for choosing Ursinus:  “I liked the small campus feel and how close to my house it was.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level?  “It’s been a dream of mine since I was younger. I always thought I was going Division One, and I quickly realized that wasn’t realistic, so I looked more at the D3 schools for better academics, and I ended up at Ursinus.”

Coach Brian Klumpp says:  “Eric is a four-year varsity player. Not only is he a great player, he’s probably the best teammate you could ask for. He was a captain this season. He’s probably one of the best defensive catchers in the area. He works incredibly hard at it, and you can tell by his play on the field.”
