Meghan LoStracco – Gwynedd Mercy University (Lacrosse)
Major: Occupational Therapy
Reasons for choosing Gwynedd Mercy: “Mostly how close it is to home, and my brother plays lacrosse there too, so I felt like I was home because I was there so much.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “It wasn’t expected and it kind of just happened, and I went with it. The coach saw me at one of my brother’s games and reached out to me. We just kept talking. I went to a bunch of practices, and it just developed.”
Coach Janique Craig says: “Meghan has been on my team for four years, and she’s been a phenomenal teammate throughout the years. She’s worked really hard and has played low defense for us. She overcame a few injuries over the year, and I’m very proud of her that she is going on to play collegiate lacrosse at Gwynedd Mercy. I think she’s going to do a great job for them.”
