On Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, Central Bucks West senior Samantha Lubin was recognized for committing to continue her soccer career at Misericorida University.
Samantha Lubin – Misericordia University (Soccer)
Major: Physical Therapy
Final list of colleges: Misericordia, Scranton
Reasons for choosing Misericordia: “They have a really good PT program and the soccer team is also really good. They’re also pretty close and in state, which is what I wanted.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “I always wanted to play in college, and I made the decision freshman year. I started the recruiting process end of sophomore and beginning of junior year.”
Coach Mike Moyer says: “What stands out about Sam is her leadership and just her overall knowledge of the game. She never stops running. She’s involved in almost every single play. She sees the field really well, and she’s a leader. Misericordia is getting a great soccer player but an even better person. I’m happy for her.”
