On Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, Central Bucks West senior Connor Mangan was recognized for committing to continue his swimming career at Gettysburg College.

Reasons for choosing Gettysburg: “I just loved the team atmosphere and the coaches.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in swimming at the collegiate level? “It’s always been a goal of mine. Sophomore year when I only missed states my one place, I started getting email from coaches. That’s when the recruiting started.”
Coach John Foff says: “Connor Mangan has been an excellent role model, excellent team player and one of the hardest workers I have ever come across. It’s just been a pleasure having him on the team. His dedication, his commitment to the sport has been a role model for kids young and old and something that will be missed when he leaves CB West. I’m ecstatic that he’s going to Gettysburg College where I know he’ll continue to find success and pursue his career. He will be missed at CB West. He’s just an outstanding individual.”
