On Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, Central Bucks West seniors Michael Panno & Harrison Brownlow were recognized for committing to play collegiate soccer.
Harrison Brownlow - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Soccer)
Major: Computer Science
Final list of colleges: RPI, Ursinus, Susquehanna, College of Wooster
Reasons for choosing RPI: “I chose RPI because of the good computer science program and the athletic facilities. The campus was super nice, and it was a good distance away from home.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “Since I was really little, my goal was to play in college, play at the next level. Throughout high school, being part of the team, it was so much fun, so I wanted to continue it in college.”
Coach John Adair says: “Harrison is someone that from last year to this year – in my two years – has just been a consistent leader in terms of the way he goes about his business and the way that he leads by example more so than anything else. His actions match his words. He’s an incredibly talented player that we’ve been lucky enough to have, but more than anything else, I’m just super proud of the man that he is and what he’s going to accomplish not just on the field but off the field moving forward because he’s got all the tools to make all of us just incredibly proud moving forward.”

Michael Panno – Widener University (Soccer)
Major: Business
Final list of colleges: Widener, Susquehanna, Ursinus
Reasons for choosing Widener: “I just really liked Widener’s campus and their business and engineering programs.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “This year I started to think about competing in college because originally I wanted to go to a big school to watch football games. I met a lot of the players, and it seemed very interesting.”
Coach John Adair says: “Michael Panno is just a really good kid. He is on the quiet side but leads by example. He trains incredibly hard every day, and he does the right things on and off the field. He had a huge part in setting the culture that we’ve been able to set over two years just by doing the right thing because it’s the right thing. They’re both great players, and I’m really excited to see what Mike is going to do at Widener and Harris is going to do at RPI because they’ll be great. Regardless of what their future collegiate careers hold for them, they’re going to be great assets to the school, the locker room and everyone that comes in contact with them. I’m excited to see what is to come.”
