Branden Mack – Temple University (Football)

Major:  Sports Marketing

Final list of colleges:  Temple, Delaware State University

Reasons for choosing Temple:  “It felt like home, and I want to play for my city.”

What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level?  “I started thinking about it when I was in ninth grade when my coaches told me I had good talent. I worked hard to make it happen.”

Coach Joe Gro says:  “He was the hardest worker on the team. He was God-given the most athletic talent on the team, but with that, he worked harder than any kid on the team. I’ve always found that the kids that can play at the next level and play at a high level at the next level all had those common attributes. Besides being God-gifted, they worked harder than anybody else, and Branden fit right into that mold. He never took for granted his athletic ability, he worked hard at getting better, and he worked really hard at making the people around him better, which was a compliment to him. He was a special player, and I hope he has a really enjoyable career.”
