What was the progression that led you to wrestle at the collegiate level? “I started wrestling at four years old, continued through elementary school, middle school, then high school and now college - a lot of hard work and dedication to the sport.
“I thought about wrestling in college at a young age (elementary school). The recruiting started my junior year.”
Coach Brad Silimpari says: “Dan is the epitome of what a ‘student-athlete’ should be. Dan has had an incredible career on the mat for CR SOUTH (and a cradle for the ages), but more importantly he also gets it done in the classroom and is one of the finest individuals I have ever coached. He is a true role model for future CR South Wrestlers. I was honored to be his coach.”
