Trey Obarowski – Stockton College (Baseball)
Major: Exercise Science
Final list of colleges: Stockton, Cabrini, D’Youville College
Reasons for choosing Stockton: “Stockton is close to home and felt like home. When I visited, I connected with the coach really well and had some friends who played for him when he was the assistant coach at George Washington.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in baseball at the collegiate level? “I’ve always wanted to play college baseball from when I super young. I missed my entire junior year due to shoulder surgery, so it put my hopes down a little bit, but I wanted to try and complete my goal of playing at the collegiate level. Recruiting started when I was a freshman and continued all the way through senior year.”
Coach Ted Kirner: “Trey was a four-year starter in the program at second base. He brought an incredible work ethic and a strong desire to compete. I know Arcadia is getting one heck of a ballplayer, and I wish him all the best.”
