Reasons for choosing West Chester: “I loved the coaches and players. I also believe that West Chester is the next program that is taking over the PSAC.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in football at the collegiate level? “It was always a dream of mine since I was a little kid. The recruiting process started at the start of junior year when I devoted so much time to get stronger, faster and smarter at football. I also gained interest from going to camps. I received interest from the Ivy League, but I felt like WCU was home.”
Coach CJ Szydlik says: “We couldn’t be happier for Richie. He’s a big, smart and hardworking young man. He has his work cut out for him at West Chester, but I’m sure he’ll be up for the challenge.”
