“It is our hope we have prepared Cam and Katie with the life lessons and skills to succeed away from home and handle the challenges that come with playing a college sport,” Rock South coach Jesse Krasna said. “I know they are excited to show what they can do, and it will be fun following their careers. We wish them the best of luck in the future.”

Cam Gregory – Holy Family University (Basketball)
Coach Jesse Krasna says:
“Our South basketball family is excited that Cam gets to play at Holy Family. She worked hard on the court and in the classroom to earn this opportunity. Early on in her high school career, she became known as a 3-point shooter, but this year as a senior, she really grew defensively and stepped up on that end of the floor, bringing a physicality and intelligence that elevated our team’s play.”

Katie Purpura – St. Thomas Aquinas College (Baseball)
Coach Jesse Krasna says:
“Our South basketball family is excited that Katie gets to move on and compete at St. Thomas Aquinas. St Thomas Aquinas has a history of recruiting tough, hard-nosed players, and that is exactly what Katie will bring. Her physical play, pursuit of the basketball, willingness to share the ball and be a vocal presence are qualities that separate Katie from other players, and they should translate well to the college level.”
