Mike Griffin – Immaculata University (Basketball)
Major: Business
Final list of colleges: Immaculata, DeSales, Bloomsburg
Reasons for choosing Immaculata: “I just liked the school and the basketball program there.”
What was the progression that led you to playing basketball at the collegiate level? “In my junior year, it kind of came true that I might be able to play basketball at college. I started hearing from some colleges and just playing varsity and how we became a really good team the last couple of years.”
Coach Charles Grasty says: “Mike came in known as someone who could shoot the ball, but he worked his butt off and became a great player. I’m not sure he had college aspirations as a sophomore, but he got to the point where he started getting some interest from colleges. He worked hard – he came to all the workouts, and he became an excellent player.”
