On Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, Hatboro-Horsham senior N’Gianni Cerisier and Nahji Logan were recognized for committing to continue their football careers at the collegiate level. Check back for photos of the event.
“N’Gianni and Nahji – their senior years kind of mirrored each other,” coach Mark Schmidt said. “It’s safe to say they didn’t get off to the best start, but I have to give them credit for that, being a first-year coach and them being seniors. They really didn’t put their heads between their legs. They decided to buckle up and put their feet on the ground. They came back and they bought in. To their credit, by the end of the year, they were playing some very high level football, and they saved their best game for last. That last game (a 20-19 win over Upper Moreland) was a testimony to the type of players we knew they were going to be. Both of these guys offensively and defensively made big contributions - big stops on defense and huge plays on offense - to have that success to win that game and turn a pretty lousy season into a better season. It gave those guys a sense of leadership and a sense of accomplishment, and I applaud them for that. They could have turned their back on the program, but they didn’t. I wish those two guys nothing but the best. I know at UMass and Clarion, they have to go up there and start all over, but they’re going to be ready for it. Hopefully, this school had something to do with that.”
