Lower Moreland senior Demmi Fox was recognized for committing to continue her soccer career at the collegiate level.

Demmi Fox – Gwynedd Mercy University (Soccer)

Major: Radiology

Reasons for selecting Gwynedd Mercy:  Beautiful campus, playing the sport I love, great people and good coach.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level?  “Last year when I started playing in showcases and watching games at the collegiate level, I started thinking about playing in college. I decided it was something I wanted to do so I could continue playing the sport I love.”

Coach Todd Hill says: Demmi is a strong soccer player.  She impacts the game in multiple ways. She was able to score goals for us and was always a threat.  She could go to her right or her left, which made her unpredictable to defend. Her super power was that she was able to see a play developing before the defender saw it, and she would place the ball in a perfect spot, often splitting the defenders and putting the ball on her teammates foot in a great place to attack the goal.  She led the team in assists.
“Demmi has a really fun personality and will be missed on our team next year. I wish her the best of luck in her collegiate soccer career, but more importantly as she moves on to the next season of life.”
