Keith Earle – Lafayette College (Football)
Major:
Civil Engineering
Final list of colleges:  Lafayette, Lehigh
Reasons for choosing Lafayette:  “From my point of view, I wanted to pick an athletic and academic proven school. Obviously, campus life has an effect on it as well, but I thought Lafayette was the best option for me.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level?  “I think it was the jump from sophomore year to junior year - the work I put in during the offseason between those two seasons and the statistics that I had my junior year. I just progressed into my senior as well. After my junior year, I started talking to coaches.”
Coach Dick Beck says:  “Keith was a three-year starter - both ways his junior and senior years. He was a team captain. Keith was first team all-league at defensive end and second team all-league at tight end. He’s been a tremendous leader for us on and off the field and in the weight room. He’s exactly what we’re looking for in a student-athlete when it comes to academics and athletics and being a great character kid.”

Nyfease West – Delaware State University (Football)
Major:
Business
Final list of colleges: Delaware State, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Villanova, Temple
Reasons for picking Delaware State:  “I thought Delaware State was the best fit for me academically and athletically, and I also liked the coaching staff a lot there. We have a great bond.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level?  “I have always wanted to play college football. After my sophomore season, I started to get recruited a little bit. I know sophomore year the letters don’t really mean anything, but after that, things kind of took off from there.”
Coach Dick Beck says:  “Nyfease is another three-year starter for us and is probably our all-time leading rusher in yardage. He rushed for over a thousand yards all three years. He came in as a sophomore and had a tremendous year after not playing the first three games, rushed for over 1200 yards and got us into the playoffs. Last year he rushed for over a thousand yards, and this year he missed three games in the middle of the season and rushed for 1300 yards. But it’s not about statistics with Nyfease, it’s about winning. When it came to game time in big-game situations, he was the guy we gave the ball to. He was a team captain. He’s great in the classroom when it comes to being a leader off the field. He was first team all-league, first team all-area. (Nyfease and Keith) are two guys we can’t wait to see what they do in the future. I think the sky’s the limit for both of them.”
