Brett Else – George Washington University (Water Polo)

Major:  Undecided

Final list of colleges:  George Washington, Bucknell

Reasons for choosing George Washington:  “Good connections to the city, (the) team atmosphere seemed to be what I was looking for, and academically, it had what I was looking for.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in water polo at the collegiate level?  “I watched my brother and sister play water polo for Bucknell and Marist, and that made me want to reach that level. I played for Princeton Tigers Junior Olympic water polo team, and playing at Junior Olympics exposed me to the college coaches.”

Coach Jason Grubb says:  “Brett was a great all-around player for North Penn. He was asked to play multiple positions in a game, but his play as a center helped earn him the state MVP award. Brett was a three-year starter and captain of the team his senior year. I have coached Brett since he was seven years old and could not ask for a better person to come through our program.”
