Reasons for choosing Rollins: “Their academics, their campus and the opportunity to row.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in rowing at the collegiate level? “I started rowing in 
January, and I picked it up and liked it a lot. I thought it was a bit easier than swimming – you’re not in the water, but you’re still moving. It’s the same movements as swimming, and they were looking for tall swimmers.”
Pennsbury swim & dive coach Brian Deley: “I’ve known Neil since he was young. I actually taught him to swim. He’s shown explosive performances in all the years I’ve had him swimming. He has a commitment. He always puts in the work after school and shows up for his club team. Whenever there’s practice or there’s a meet, he’s always putting in 100 percent. It was great to have him on the team, and I’m very excited to see him row in college.”
