Hannah Molloy – Iona College (Cross Country/Track)

Major:  Sports Marketing

Final list of colleges:  Iona, Penn State, Temple, Liberty

Reasons for choosing Iona:  “The program is really good there. All the girls were really nice, and out of all the schools, the coaches were the ones that stood out. They were nice, and they didn’t pressure me to decide.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in cross country and track at the collegiate level?  “I think I wanted to do this my entire life, but I guess middle school is when I really started thinking about running college.”

Coach Tim Cass says:  “Her consistency – Hannah’s been all-state her whole career basically. Three of the past four years she was part of the state championship teams, and she’s a mainstay of why they did win the state championships. She has a strong work ethic, and she’s definitely knowledgeable of the sport. Put those two together, and she’s definitely goal driven as well.”
