“Both Will and Charlie are great kids,” coach Drew Artin said. “I’m excited to watch them play their senior season and the next four years at their respective colleges. I couldn’t be prouder of them. Good luck to them and their families.”

Will Anderson – Chestnut Hill College (Lacrosse)

Major:  Cyber Security

Final list of colleges:  Chestnut Hill, Gwynedd Mercy

Reasons for choosing Chestnut Hill:  “I chose Chestnut Hill mostly for the coaching staff, and I know a lot of the players at Chestnut Hill as well.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “I started thinking about it in eighth grade. I always wanted to play the lacrosse at a higher level. I worked hard, and with a lot of help from my coaches throughout high school, they helped me get there.”

Coach Drew Artin says:  “Will Anderson plays attack and will be going to Chestnut Hill College. Will is definitely a soft-spoken and quiet kid, but when it comes to lacrosse IQ and a knack for the game, I think he’s second to none that’s come through the Pennsbury program. I couldn’t be prouder of him following his brother to Chestnut Hill and playing at the Division II level. I think he has a very high ceiling and will be successful. He definitely puts time into the sport. The stick is never out of his hand, he’s just a complete lacrosse rat, and I think it’s going to translate well to the Division II level. I’m certainly proud of his commitment to himself and the program and being a leader for what we want to do at Pennsbury and the culture we established during my time here.”

Charlie Nuschke – University of Hartford (Lacrosse)

Major:  Film & Cinema

Final list of colleges:  Hartford, Robert Morris, Monmouth

Reasons for choosing Hartford:  “I went to Hartford for a visit, and I really like the campus. I got along really well with the coaches and the players.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level?  “I started playing lacrosse in fifth grade. I always knew I wanted to play in college – that was my goal from the beginning. Once I got to high school, that’s when I really buckled down, and I started playing club ball in the summertime.”

Coach Drew Artin says:  “Charlie Nuschke is a defenseman who’s committing to the University of Hartford. Charlie’s a hardnosed, physical, aggressive defender with stick skills that translate to pushing offense, picking off passes and making things happen from the defensive side. He is a good one-on-one defender. He definitely anchored our defense over the years, and he’s also the first Division I commit out of Pennsbury, so I’m certainly proud of him and the young man he has become. When he walked onto campus as a freshman and all the way through, I knew he was something special. He got involved with the right club program with NXT, and it really helped his game develop and blossom. He put in the hard work, he put in a lot of time. He was a guy I would catch late at night leaving the field house, doing wall ball with his dad with the truck lights on. He just always put in the extra time to develop his craft and be a great player. I couldn’t be prouder of him for committing and signing his NLI to Hartford.”
