Reasons for choosing Siena: “I loved the team chemistry and the campus and where it’s located.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level: “I started playing lacrosse my freshman year, so I wasn’t sure if I was even going to do lacrosse in college. I started to realize sophomore year I had a chance, and that’s when I decided to pursue Division 1 schools.”
Coach Marguerite Piccolo says: “Mia is just every coach’s dream, not just because of her speed! She’s humble, dedicated, hardworking, competitive and selfless. Mia cares more about the team’s success than any personal accolades. She’s willing to do anything that is asked of her and gives a 100 percent both at practice and on game days.
“It’s hard to believe she just started playing lacrosse freshman year. It just goes to show that with determination and practice anything is possible. I’m really excited to see her flourish this season.”
