Alton Custus – East Stroudsburg University (Football)
Major: Undecided
Final list of colleges: East Stroudsburg, Millersville, Notre Dame College
Reasons for choosing East Stroudsburg: “(I liked) the campus and the lifestyle and how you can meet a lot of people – I felt comfortable there.”
What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football? “Since I was younger, I always wanted to do something when I went to college. Going into college, I didn’t want to just go in and study. I needed something to keep me focused and keep me on track. Playing football, you have to keep your grades up, so I will have to keep my grades up to play football.”
Coach Dan Chang says: “Alton was one of our most dynamic players both offensively and defensively. He was very gifted as an athlete and made some very big plays for us. He catches everything near him, he runs great routes, and he’s very tough. I think his best football is still to come, and he’s going to do great at East Stroudsburg.”
About Alton:
Favorite food: Pasta Chicken Alfredo
Favorite movie: Fast and Furious Series

Peter Giorgio – Widener University (Football)
Major: Undecided
Final list of colleges: Widener, Stevenson University, Wilkes
Reasons for choosing Widener: “When I went to visit with the football team, it felt very connected. They felt like a family. I’m not going just because of the football but because it will help me with everything else.”
What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football? “I always wanted to continue playing football, but college was more like – if I couldn’t, then I couldn’t, but I definitely love the opportunity that I have.”
Coach Dan Chang says: “Peter is a guy who worked his butt off for three years now and had just a stellar senior season. He was a dual threat for us both running and throwing the ball. He was probably the most improved from the beginning of the season to the end of the season. He played some corner for us, and I think he will be playing defensive back at Widener. I think it will be a good opportunity for him.”
About Peter:
Favorite food: Spaghetti and Meatballs
Favorite movie: Fast and Furious 6
Favorite music: R&B/Hip Hop/Rap
Cory Grabowski – Wilkes University (Football)
Major: Business Management
Final list of colleges: Wilkes, Thiel
Reasons for choosing Wilkes: “The major (I’ve chosen) was better at Widener.”
What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football? “I always wanted to play college football, but I never thought it was possible until I started playing and realized (I could). I started applying to colleges, talking to coaches, and they liked me.”
Coach Dan Chang says: “Cory is just a fundamentally sound player. He led our team in interceptions, and he was a guy you could always count on on the defensive side of the ball. Like Alton, he’s improved dramatically over the course of the year, and I think he’s going to continue to get better at Wilkes.”
About Cory:

Favorite movie: Rocky
