Monica Dresnin – Rutgers University (Lacrosse)
Major: Undecided
Reasons for choosing Rutgers: “The main reason I picked Rutgers was my positive impression of the coaching staff and most importantly my conversations with coach (Laura) Brand. They all take an immense amount of pride in academics and athletics. The amount of school spirit at Rutgers is hard to beat. I also got a ‘family’ type feeling from the team. Also, the location of Rutgers is perfect. I wanted to be able to stay close to home and my family can attend games. Lastly, I am looking forward to having the opportunity to compete with the best!”
Coach Ellen Reilly says: “Monica is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached. Her dedication and commitment along with a strong work ethic have made her the player that she has become. Every minute she has she is working on her stickwork either at a wall, shooting on a cage or playing the game.”
About Monica:
Favorite food: Pasta, especially Fettucine Alfredo.
Favorite movie: The Toy Story Trilogy
Favorite music: “I like all kinds of music. My playlist ranges from Elton John to Justin Bieber. I must admit… I have a little bit of Bieber Fever.”
