Quakertown's Clancy & Handrzak to Play Football at Moravian

On Wednesday, May 28, 2024, Quakertown seniors Tanner Clancy & Brian Hendrzak were recognized for committing to continue their football careers at Moravian University.

“Tanner and Brian have each other to lean on - both are going to Moravian,” coach George Banas said. “It’s right up the road, and they’re following a bunch of Quakertown athletes who have been there, so there’s a good tradition of football players, and they know what they’re getting out of them. Tanner and Brian have left Quakertown better than when they got here. Their class has made the district playoffs three straight years, set a school record their sophomore year, and has been the first team in decades to go 3-0 on Thanksgiving. They’ve never lost on Thanksgiving, and they can cherish that the rest of their lives. I’m very thankful for what both guys have given to our program, and I wish them the best of luck”
