Cameron Cronk – Cairn University (Volleyball)
Major: Youth Ministry
Final list of colleges: Cairn, Lancaster Bible
Reasons for choosing Cairn: “I knew the campus better and had a relationship with the coach.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in volleyball at the collegiate level? “I started playing volleyball in my sophomore year as something to try and loved the sport and the team. I then visited colleges, and once I went to Cairn and met the coach, I was sold when I met the team. Cairn is also the best school for my major.”
Coach Andy Snyder says: “Cameron joined the volleyball team three years ago during his sophomore year. Starting as a sophomore, he was a little behind, so his learning curve was a little bit steeper, but through his drive and determination, he became a very strong player. He played middle for us on jayvee that first year and was our most improved player, earning a spot on the varsity team as a junior. He continued as a middle, and as a senior, we moved him to the outside. This year as an outside hitter he was second on the team in kills and a strong contributor all the way around for us. Cameron wore his heart on his sleeve. You knew how he felt and where his mind was at all times. He was one of the driving forces that helped our team this year.”

Justin Flor – Eastern University (Volleyball)
Major: Math & Engineering
Final list of colleges: Eastern, Kean University, Penn State, Lehigh
Reasons for choosing Eastern: “Beautiful campus and great coach.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in volleyball at the collegiate level? “Sophomore year of club volley ball I went to a college camp and immediately wanted to play. Then, at the end of junior year, coaches began contacting me.”
Coach Andy Snyder says: “Justin has been a solid contributor to the boys’ volleyball team for all four years of his high school career. Justin made the switch from being a track star high jumper to volleyball in his freshman year and immediately made contributions to the team. Justin was a varsity letter winner all four years that he played. He was primarily a right side hitter for us but also spent some time as a setter and outside hitter. Justin brought a calm demeanor to the court and helped stabilize us when the game would become frantic. This past season Justin served as our captain. As our captain, he led the team in kills, he was our number one passer on serve receive, and he was voted second team all-league this year as well. I would like to thank Justin for his hard work over the past four years and wish him the best as he moves on to Eastern University. It’s been a privilege to coach both guys. I’m glad we had the experience together.”
