Khalil Roberts – Lock Haven University (Football)

Major:  Criminal Justice

Final list of colleges:  Lock Haven, Albright, Susquehanna, Shippensburg

Reasons for choosing Lock Haven:  “Just the fit – I felt good up there. The (guys) that were playing there were real nice, and the coaches had my back on everything.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football?  “At the end of my junior year, I got first team all-area, and in the preseason, I was ranked 83rd in the state, so I felt as though I could do it.”

Coach Jeff Cappa says:  “Khalil is a three-year varsity starter. He has great size, great strength. With the type of experience he had, it also makes him a very good leader within our team. He’s also a multi-sport athlete. He plays basketball and does track, and he also has great parents at home who support him and support our program and all of our efforts. Those are the types of things that make him successful. He was sought after by a lot of colleges and universities. He opened up a lot of doors for himself because of his athletics and academics.”

Lock Haven coach John Allen says:  “Khalil is a good size prospect that will give us immediate depth at tackle.”
